Yes, it does. The training ends in employment with the recruiting company.

The training takes two years in Arar and six months on-the-job.

The specializations available currently in the polytechnic are: underground mining, surface mining, and plant operations.

The polytechnic is semi-governmental. The certification is accredited by the Ministry of Education and the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVTC).

Training opportunities at the polytechnic are announced depending on the needs of the recruiting companies.

The only SMP branch in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia currently is in Arar.

A trainee is provided with a stipend during the training in addition to accommodation or an accommodation allowance and medical insurance. He is also registered with social insurance.

Employment is guaranteed so long as you have successfully completed the training program.

Yes, it can be promoted into a bachelor’s degree in coordination with SMP and the recruiting company.

There is an agreement with King Abdulaziz University in Jedda regarding the resumption of study for a bachelor’s degree.

The training hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

During the first year, the training includes courses in English, computer, safety, and general life skills. In the second year, the training is practical on advanced simulation equipment.

The training cannot be postponed as SMP has to comply with the contract with the recruiting company for a specific training period.

You cannot be admitted at all until it is verified that your name is not enrolled in the Human Resources Development Fund.
